You will be required to agree to the Developer Agreement as part of the submission process. You may submit as many Entries as you want. If you are a group of individuals submitting an Entry, the Entry shall be submitted under one individual's account. The names of all the individuals in the group should be noted in the description for proper attribution. You must be the named and authorized account holder of the email address submitted in connection with your Entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Entries submitted will not be returned or acknowledged. Without limiting any other rights, the Sponsor has the right to, in the Sponsor's sole discretion, reject or remove from the Challenge any Entry that, in the Sponsor's sole discretion, violates these Rules, any applicable Sponsor policy, any applicable laws, or is in any way harmful or objectionable. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or Entry at the Sponsor's sole discretion. No correspondence shall be entered into.

Privacy: Entrants will be asked to provide their names and an email address so they can be contacted if selected a winner. Winners will be asked for a mailing address so that we can send them their prizes. All Entries may be made public as well as the entrants' names. Challenge Period: The Challenge begins at 5:01 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) (11:01 p.m. GMT) on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on Friday, January 7, 2011 (7:59 a.m. GMT on January 8, 2011) (the "Challenge Period"). It is immediately followed by the judging, and then public voting, as described below.

Work Criteria: All Entries must meet specific criteria to be accepted into the Challenge. Without limitation, the following conditions apply: (a) Entry must be compatible with and function properly in the most recently released beta version of Firefox 4 for mobile at the time your Entry is submitted; (b) the full source code, including that of any binary components, must be made available to Sponsor (upon request); (c) the description of the Entry included in your submission must be clear and accurate; (d) the Entry must comply with all of the Mozilla Add-ons policies posted at https://addons.mozilla.org/pages/policy/; (e) The Entry must be your original work and may not include any unauthorized intellectual property of a third party; (f) The name of your Entry may not include any Mozilla trademarks or portions thereof, except for the inclusion of "for Firefox for mobile" at the end of the name. The Entry must further comply with any additional technical requirements set forth on the Challenge web site and entry page.

Selection of Winners: After the Challenge Period has ended, all Entries will be reviewed and judged by a panel of qualified judges, who will select (i) the top Entry in each of the following six categories: Sports/Games, Commerce/Shopping, Geolocation, Productivity, Sharing/Social, and Novelty/Innovation, and (ii) the "Best in Show" winner. Entries will be judged based on the following two criteria: User experience (it must be compatible and follow mobile UI best practices) (50%) and Innovativeness (must consider the mobile context) (50%). The winning Entry in each of the six categories selected by the panel of judges will then be posted for public voting. The Voting Period will begin at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) (8:01 a.m. GMT) on Friday, January 14, 2011 and will end at 11:59 p.m. PST on Monday, January 21, 2011 (7:59 a.m. GMT on January 22, 2011). Anyone may vote for the winning Entry he/she likes most by making a selection through the polling tool that will be available at addons.mozilla.org/mobile-contest/ during the Voting Period. You may be blocked from casting more than one vote during any session, but may vote multiple times. We ask that you be respectful of the community and not cast an excessive number of votes. All votes are final and cannot be revoked. The one Entry receiving the highest number of valid votes from the public, as determined by the Sponsor, will be deemed the "People's Favorite" winner, subject to verification of the entrant's eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. In case of a tie, Sponsor shall make the final decision. The decisions of the judging panel and public vote are final on all matters relating to the Challenge and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prizes: One winning Entry will be selected in each of the six (6) categories identified above. The winner in each category will receive the following prizes: $1,000 in cash, a Nokia or Android mobile device of the winner's choice (retail price may not exceed $650), and non-cash recognition prizes such as Suggested Add-on placement on the Firefox for Mobile start page, showcasing in a Featured Add-ons video that is expected to be distributed through various Mozilla channels and may be seen by media outlets, announcement as a winner in a Firefox for Mobile blog post, and being featured on the Rock Your Firefox website. One (1) Best in Show winner will be selected from among the 6 category winners. The Best in Show winner, in addition to the prizes above, will also receive a trip to the Mobile World Congress, 2011 being held in Barcelona, Spain, scheduled for February 14 to February 17, 2011. The trip prize package includes a Gold pass to Mobile World Congress, 2011 (approximate retail value: $3700), 4 nights stay at a hotel of Mozilla's choosing for the nights of February 13-16, 2011 (approximate retail value: $1600), and flights between the major airport nearest the winner's home and Barcelona to be arranged by Mozilla in consultation with the winner (approximate retail value: $2000). Total approximate retail value of the trip prize: $7300. Actual value will vary depending on departure city, hotel selected by Mozilla, and exchange rates. If winner resides in the Barcelona area, ground transportation will be substituted for air. Any difference between actual and stated value will not be awarded. All travel and accommodations are subject to availability and Sponsor discretion. No responsibility is assumed for any postponement or cancellation of the Congress; in such circumstances the remainder of the trip package will be awarded as the complete prize. A major credit card may be required upon hotel check-in to cover any incidental expenses. The winner is responsible for possessing all necessary passports or other travel documents. Failure to be available or able to travel on designated dates may result in forfeit of prize and, if time permits, selection of an alternate winner. If the trip prize winner is a minor, he/she must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for all his/her travel related expenses. One People's Favorite winner will be selected by public vote. The People's Favorite winner will receive recognition in a form to be determined but will not win any prize with monetary value.

General Prize Conditions: Winners are solely responsible for the payment of any taxes that may arise as a result of acceptance of a prize, and all other expenses or costs relating to the prize not expressly set forth above (including any service plan and all trip expenses not listed above). Prizes cannot be transferred or substituted and must be accepted as awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Please allow 8-10 weeks for prize delivery. Please note that if the winning Entry was submitted by a group, only one prize package will be awarded to the group. A prize will not be given to each member of the group.

Winner Notification/Validation: The category winners and the Best in Show winner will be notified by email on or about January 14, 2011. The People's Favorite winner will be notified by email on or about January 22, 2011. Each potential winner (and any team members) may be required to sign and return to Sponsor an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, where lawful, within ten (10) days of the date of winning notification; otherwise the prize will be forfeited, and the entrant having the next highest score will be deemed to be the winner. If a winner is a group as opposed to one (1) individual, each member of the group listed on the Entry Page must sign and return to Sponsor an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the timeframe stated above or the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be notified. If any winner is a minor under the laws of his/her place of residence, all documents must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. If a winner cannot be notified within five (5) days after his or her selection, or in the event of non-compliance with any of these requirements, the prize will be forfeited, and the entrant having the next highest score will be deemed the winner.
